1KALAMEH operates as a network-based platform composed of complementary
branches. The 1Kalameh Lawyers Network focuses on legal analysis and
institutional design, while the 1Kalameh Activists Network advances civic
engagement, public awareness, and social participation, working in
coordination to advance democratization.

The mission of the 1Kalameh Legal Network is to provide
legal support, deliver human rights and Democratization,
and strengthen the foundations of justice and accountable
governance. By transferring expertise from experienced
lawyers to younger practitioners, we aim to expand the next
generation of Iranian human rights lawyers, ensuring that
no citizen faces injustice alone.

A comprehensive review of the Islamic Republic’s
legal and penal framework, using a three-stage
classification: abolish, suspend, reform. Designing the
foundations of a modern, secular, and forward-looking
legal order based on freedom, equality, justice, and
democracy.
☐ The Court of History
A docufiction film set in a future transitional-justice
period in post-Islamic Republic Iran
where crimes and gross human rights violations are
examined in public hearings, aligned with international
standards of justice.
☐ BaHaM
A participatory platform for collective future-building in
a free Iran;
a civic and intellectual “cloud” connecting Iranians
worldwide through step-by-step policy-making and
structured public engagement.

worldwide; - provides an early-warning mechanism for threats and
rights violations; - strengthens the foundations of human rights, due process,

Iran; - and contributes to shaping the intellectual and legal
